The 2012 NBA Draft figures to consist of a deeper, more talented group of prospects that the 2011 class. Team needs HAVE been taken into consideration with this 2012 NBA mock draft and the order is based off the end of the season NBA standings. 31. Charlotte– Will Barton, SG, Memphis, 6-6, So.
The Bobcats need some offensive firepower on their wing and Will Barton knows how to score the basketball.
32. Washington– Draymond Green, F, Michigan State, 6-7, Sr.
Draymond Green could easily sneak into the first round. He can affect the floor in a number of ways and would be a great value pick for a team looking to improve their chemistry.

33. Cleveland (from NO)- Darius Miller, G/F, Kentucky, 6-8, Sr.
34. Cleveland– Evan Fournier, SG, France, 6-6, 1992
With their fourth pick of the draft, grabbing a foreign talent who they could stash overseas for a year or two might be a wise move for the future.
35. Golden State (from BRK)- Scott Machado, PG, Iona, 6-1, Sr.
The Warriors could use a true distributor behind Stephen Curry.
36. Sacramento– Jae Crowder, F, Marquette, 6-6, Sr.
The Kings don’t have a long-term answer at small forward and could use someone like Crowder who can impact the game in so many ways.
37. Toronto- Tomas Sotaransky, SG, Czech Republic, 6-6, 1991
Raptors will likely go the foreign route with one of their second round picks.
38. Denver (from GS)- Augusto Cesar Lima, PF, Brazil, 6-10, 1991
Since their core is under contract for next season, the Nuggets can afford to take a foreign talent and stash him overseas for a year or two.

40. Portland (from Hou via MIN)-Festus Ezeli, C, Vanderbilt, 6-11, Sr.
The Blazers don’t have a true center under contract for next season.
41. Portland- Darius Johnson-Odom, SG, Marquette, 6-3, Sr.
DJO is a NBA level scorer but his lack of size hurts his stock.
42. Milwaukee- Kris Joseph, SF, Syracuse, 6-7, Sr.
The Bucks look for options at small forward since Carlos Delfino is a free agent.
43. Atlanta (from PHX)- Marcus Denmon, SG, Missouri, 6-3, Sr.
Again, the Hawks need depth all over since they only have six players under contract for next season. Marcus Denmon can contribute in a lot of areas and maybe find a spot off the bench.
44. Detroit (from HOU)- Henry Sims, C, Georgetown, 6-10, Sr.
More size wouldn’t be a bad thing for the Pistons and they’ve had success with one Hoya big man already on the roster.
45. Philadelphia- Kevin Murphy, SG, Tennessee Tech, 6-6, Sr.
Kevin Murphy is a shooter/scorer and could provide depth in case Jodie Meeks leaves via free agency.
46. Utah- Hollis Thompson, SF, Georgetown, 6-8, Jr.
Josh Howard and C.J. Miles are free agents so the Jazz could use depth on the wing. A young point guard would be another option.
47. Washington (from DAL)- Furkan Aldemir, PF, Turkey, 6-9, 1991
With three picks in the draft, the Wizards can afford to take a foreign player and stash him overseas for a while.
48. New York- Tu Holloway, PG, Xavier, 6-0, Sr.
With Baron Davis and Mike Bibby free agents and Jeremy Lin a restricted free agent, the Knicks could use some options at the point.
49. Orlando- Kyle O’Quinn, C, Norfolk State, 6-10, Sr.
The Magic could use a big man to back-up Dwight Howard.
50. Denver- Kevin Jones, PF, West Virginia, 6-8, Sr.
Since their core is under contract for next season, the Nuggets take the best available player.
51. Boston- Alex Young, G/F, IUPUI, 6-6, Sr.
The Celtics should look to add a shooter with one of their three picks since Ray Allen is a free agent.
52. Golden State (from ATL)- Leon Radosevic, F/C, Croatia, 6-10, 1991
The Warriors will draft at least one foreign player if they keep all four of their picks.
53. L.A. Clippers- Drew Gordon, PF, New Mexico, 6-9, Sr.
The Clips need depth on the wing and in their frontcourt and take the best available at that spot.
54. Philadelphia (from MEM)- Kostas Papanikolaou, 6-8, SF, Greece, 1990
The 76ers have three picks in the draft so going the foreign route makes sense. A great showing at the Euroleague Final Four might have landed the Greek forward a spot in the second round.
55. Dallas (from LAL)- Orlando Johnson, SG, UC-Santa Barbara, 6-5, Sr.
Orlando Johnson adds depth and youth on the wing that they passed with their first round pick.
56. Toronto (from IND)- Jared Cunningham, SG, Oregon State, 6-4, Jr.
Jared Cunningham would be a back-up plan in case Jarryd Bayless leaves via free agency.
57. New Jersey (from MIA)- Ricardo Ratliffe, PF, Missouri, 6-8, Sr.
Since Jordan Williams is their only power forward under contract for next season, the Nets look to add depth at the four.
58. Minnesota (from OKC)- Kim English, G/F, Missouri, 6-6, Sr.
Kim English can shoot it from deep; just what the T-Wolves need.
59. San Antonio- Khris Middleton, SF, Texas A&M, 6-7, Jr.
The Aggie struggled with injury as a junior and could be a second round steal.
60. L.A. Lakers (from CHI)- Mitchell Watt, PF, Buffalo, 6-10, Sr.
Lakers need to find frontcourt depth and Mitchell Watt is a sleeper.
